Precision BioSearch partners with MitoRx Therapeutics to appoint Alison Strutt as CFO

Precision BioSearch is delighted to have supported MitoRx Therapeutics, a biotechnology company focused on developing therapies for diseases caused by mitochondrial dysfunction, with the appointment of Alison Strutt as Chief Financial Officer.
Alison brings over 25 years of senior finance and operations leadership across the life sciences sector, with deep expertise in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, and large-scale change and transformation. Her financial and operational leadership will be instrumental as MitoRx advances its lead asset, MTRX31, a first-in-class mitochondrial-targeted small molecule, towards clinical development.
Prior to joining MitoRx, Alison served as Chief Operating Officer at NodThera, where she led the finance and non-scientific functions across the company’s UK and US sites through a period of rapid growth. She also acted as CFO at Kynos Therapeutics, where she led all aspects of company finance and operations through to a successful trade sale and investor exit in 2024. Alison is a Chartered Accountant and holds a PhD in Chemistry and Physical Chemistry from the University of Cardiff.
