LONDON, UK – 1st July 2026 – Precision BioSearch, the specialist life sciences executive search firm recognised for its highly personalised, partnership-led approach, today announced the appointment of Andrew (AJ) MacBride Brown as Principal, effective 1 July 2026.   

AJ joins Precision BioSearch following a successful career with respected names in the executive search field. Most recently, he served as Principal at Catalyst Advisors, a multinational life sciences executive search firm, where he advised biotechnology companies across Europe and North America on leadership talent strategies and senior executive appointments.

AJ began his career at the globally recognised search firm Heidrick & Struggles, where he developed expertise in identifying and securing leadership talent for high-growth life sciences organisations. He combines over a decade of executive recruitment experience with a strong foundation in corporate strategy and M&A, and holds a degree in Business Development, Management and Operations from the University of Glasgow. 

AJ’s appointment represents an important milestone in Precision BioSearch’s evolution and ability to deliver globally to the biotech sector. As the firm broadens its reach and capabilities, it remains committed to the personalised, senior-led service model that has underpinned its success since inception.
